To understand perspectives on the language used by politicians and the media to talk about social security and how this shapes perceptions. The session also sought partners views on alternative language and the characteristics of a good social security system. This input will inform the creation of the two guides, one for Members of Parliament and the other for the media to promote the use of positive language when talking about the social security system.
